June 27: Movie Night, 5:30 P.M.
During World War II, sisters Dottie and Kit join the first female professional baseball league and struggle to help it succeed amid their own growing rivalry.
This film is a fictionalized account of the real-life All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. It was a critical and commercial success, garnering acclaim for the director and the performances of its ensemble cast.
In 2012, the Library of Congress selected it for preservation in the United States National Film Registry as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
