During World War II, sisters Dottie and Kit join the first female professional baseball league and struggle to help it succeed amid their own growing rivalry.
This film is a fictionalized account of the real-life All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. It was a critical and commercial success, garnering acclaim for the director and the performances of its ensemble cast.
