Mission

Since its founding, Missions and Outreach have been an important part of the efforts of the First Congregational Church of Danbury.  We have provided leadership and support to address needs in the greater Danbury area.  Our primary outreach activities are described in the links to the right.

The Thrift Shop offers clothing and household items at low prices to the community.  The Community Chorus provides musical training for elementary school children after school to supplement music programs in the school system.  The Overflow Homeless Shelter provides sleeping quarters to the homeless during the cold winter months.
