Tis Better To Give

Now that the frenzy of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday is over, and the end of the year approaching, many people are focusing on giving rather than buying. #Giving Tuesday is a national day dedicated to celebrating and encouraging philanthropic donations during the holiday season. The First Congregational Church of Danbury is grateful for the support it receives from its congregation and the community throughout the year and we also appreciate the demands on charitable dollars. However, the holiday season is also when we try to provide for the increased needs of Greater Danbury, whether it's toys for children who would otherwise do without or shelter for the homeless. So a special donation on #Giving Tuesday, November 29, or at any time during the holiday season would be especially appreciated.
