Jesus Wants Us to Play, Not Work!
Be whole-hearted in all that we do

Over and over again in the Gospels, Jesus does the unexpected -- contradicting the norms and values of his society. Remember Tom Sawyer, hornswoggling his friends into painting Aunt Polly’s fence for him? He got them to play the work! Instead of approaching some of our work as drudgery, Jesus contradicts our culture’s supreme value of work. He wants us to become like a little child and be whole-hearted in all that we do.
