Music Ministry: Can't-Miss Performances
Jazz sunday service; classical guitar in afternoon

I want to thank my choir for showing up on a very, very cold Sunday morning and singing so well three anthems for our special Valentine’s Day Service. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many in the congregation as well. The wedding renewals also went very well.
This Sunday is Jazz Sunday. Doug Hartline and his group will not be back until April, so if this is one of your favorite services make every effort to attend. Then please return in the afternoon at 2 p.m. to hear another very gifted guitar player, Levon Ofgang. This concert is being retitled “Classical Guitar and Beyond.” This is because he also is a member of a Celtic band, which he formed that has played both nationally and internationally! He is planning to bring along his ‘bagpipes’ for a couple of numbers. So bring along your children/grandchildren. The concert should be a little over an hour with a short intermission.
