Our Music: Patriotic Music Sing-a-Long

I am scheduled for hip replacement surgery in early July and don’t know when I will return to playing the church organ. I have a wonderful sub for the first two weeks in July and am hoping to find others depending on how I feel and what I am allowed to do.

Traditionally we have serendipity Sundays in July which means singing the first and last verse of favorite, well-known hymns before the service begins.  This Sunday we will sing several Patriotic songs after the service and hopefully have a quartet for the offertory anthem. The remaining four Sundays will include the singing of favorite hymns. PLEASE, inform Pastor Pat, MaryAnn or myself of a favorite hymn you would like to sing. Do this right away and for a Sunday when you know you will be in attendance.
