Envision a Joyful Future

What would you wear to the most joyful of Birthdays? I’d want to wear RED to show how much I love that birthday honoree! And in fact, THIS Sunday is Pentecost -- the Birthday of the Christian Church!
We’ll even have a puppet show for this Birthday Party, created by puppet master Cathy Pings, assisted by Roxanne Baldwin and Greg Pings.

We’ll gather this Sunday online with JOY, because, God tells us as God did that first Pentecost:
“that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh,
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams.
In these difficult times, God invites us to ENVISION A JOYFUL FUTURE.
Instead of focusing on suffering, God tells us to PROPHESY A NEW BEGINNING.
So THIS Pentecost Sunday, I invite you to WEAR RED as a sign of hope, and the FLAME OF FAITH.
