Our Music: Soloists in August

I want to thank Beate and Jane for leading the service, musically, this past Sunday. I heard everything went very well.  

This Sunday (August 6) we are very fortunate to have Tim Koch – bass soloist available to sing and lead the congregation with the singing of the hymns.

Next week I will be away at a conference. The familiar Howard Rovics and Cheryl Hill – our soprano soloist, will be in charge of the music. They have worked very well together numerous times, especially here at First Church.

This is a Communion Sunday. There will not be a hymn sing before the service. I do thank all of you who participated in the hymn sing before each July service. We may have one more later in August.
