Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The Preservation Partnership is finally a reality! Our congregation has agreed to go forward with our contract with Bob Botelho to make our church a beautiful place where we all can continue to worship in perpetuity! Thank God that Bob had such a strong faith in God and in us!
A very special thank you must go to Rev. Dr. Pat Kriss for having the foresight to save our church. She, Gary Falkenthal and Rev. Bob Naylor went over to City Hall to discuss the possibilities more than five years ago. Pastor Pat completed her dissertation regarding the process. I wonder, if nationwide this may be the model for many churches to save their congregations?
Countless hours have been spent by the committee and church council to save our church! We are all so excited for this new beginning in the life of our church. The possibilities at this point are endless. We look forward to truly becoming “The Meeting House” the way in which our ancestors hoped that we would be for many, many years to come. It is true that one just has to have faith as big as a mustard seed.
If you have yet to see our church, please contact the church office to schedule a tour.
